One of the most cherished holiday traditions in the Bayou City is back and bigger than ever. The 76th Annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade will once again roll through the heart of downtown Houston on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., kicking off the holiday season with a vibrant display of music, magic, and community celebration.
Drawing in hundreds of thousands of spectators each year, this long-standing Houston tradition is one of the oldest Thanksgiving Day parades in the country. With roots dating back to 1949, it continues to evolve while holding fast to the spirit of gratitude and togetherness that defines the season.
This year’s “Houston on Parade” theme shines a spotlight on everything that makes this city special—its diversity, creativity, resilience, and of course, its incredible talent.
A Star-Studded Lineup of Houston Talent
The 2025 H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature a show-stopping mix of nationally recognized performers and hometown favorites, representing Houston’s unique blend of cultures and artistry:
- Christina Wells, powerhouse vocalist and America’s Got Talent semifinalist
- Danny Gokey, presented by KSBJ
- Payton Howie, presented by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
- Gloria Prince, Bridgjette Jackson, and Kam Franklin

Reserved Seating Information for the 76th Annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade
Expect high-energy performances, intricate choreography, and the kind of school spirit that will have the whole city cheering.
Enjoy the best views of the 76th Annual H‑E‑B Thanksgiving Day Parade with reserved seating along the downtown route. Seating opens at 7:00 a.m. and entertainment starts at 8:00 a.m. Attendees with reserved seating must be seated by 8:15 a.m.
Ticket Prices
- East or West Seating – $33
- Floor or Bleacher Seating – $38
Tickets are general admission within each section and must be purchased in advance—no door sales or refunds. Children require a ticket unless seated on an adult’s lap.

Be a Part of the Parade—Volunteer!
In true Houston fashion, this holiday celebration is powered by the people. Parade organizers are calling on the community to sign up as volunteers to help bring this beloved event to life.
Volunteer roles include:
- Balloon Handlers – help guide massive helium balloons through the route.
- Banner Carriers – introduce performers and floats with flair.
- Parade Marshals – keep the parade flowing smoothly (ages 18+).
- Seating & ADA Ushers – assist guests in the reserved and accessible viewing areas.
- Back Lot Crew – support staging and organization behind the scenes.

Anyone interested in volunteering must be at least 16 years old (18+ for marshals) and able to work Thanksgiving morning from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All volunteers must attend a mandatory training session at City Hall’s Legacy Room. Dates and times will be shared soon, with refreshments provided.
