Three CFISD Boys' Basketball Teams Advance to Regional QuarterfinalsÂ

The Cypress Creek, Cypress Falls and Cypress Springs high school boys’ basketball teams advanced past the area round of the UIL Class 6A playoffs and moved on to the regional quarterfinals.
Cypress Creek High School defeated Katy Tompkins, 91-63. The Cougars advance to face Katy Jordan at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).
Cypress Creek High School senior Corey Hadnot and the Cougars defeated Katy Tompkins and advanced to face Katy Jordan at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 at the Berry Center. Cypress Falls High School beat The Woodlands College Park, 58-38. The Golden Eagles advance to face Klein Collins at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Tomball Memorial High School (19100 Northpointe Ridge Lane).
Cypress Springs High School defeated Aldine Davis, 61-57. The Panthers advance to face Klein Oak at 7 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Klein Cain High School (10201 Spring Cypress Road).
Cypress Springs High School senior Rasaan Lago and the Panthers defeated Aldine Davis and advance to meet Klein Oak at 7 p.m. on Feb. 284 at Klein Cain High School. Tickets are $5 each for adults and students. Tickets for Cypress Creek will be sold online. Tickets for Cypress Falls will be sold online through Tomball ISD. Tickets for Cypress Springs will be sold online through Klein ISD.
