Texas Crawfish Company Moving to 403 Eats in Tomball for 2027 Crawfish Season, Bringing a Family-Owned Louisiana Seafood Business to Old Town Tomball
Tomball crawfish lovers will have a new place to enjoy a familiar local favorite when Texas Crawfish Company moves its food trailer to 403 Eats in Old Town Tomball for the 2027 crawfish season. For customers who have followed the business from its earlier days in Spring, the move means a different address, more places to sit and easier access to parking, but the same Louisiana-style seafood they have come to know.
The announcement, made November 3, 2026, follows an unexpected setback at the company's longtime Spring-area location on Gosling Road, where the loss of access to a neighboring parking area prompted the owners to look for a new home.
For husband-and-wife owners Colton and Marina Goff, the relocation is the latest development in a business that has grown considerably since its beginnings in 2019. What started as Big Cab's Crawfish has evolved into Texas Crawfish Company, a seafood operation with connections to Louisiana crawfish farms, a wholesale distribution business and a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Conroe.
Now, the Goffs are preparing to bring their food trailer to one of Tomball's established outdoor dining destinations, where customers will have more room to spread out during crawfish season.
From Big Cab's Crawfish to Texas Crawfish Company: How the Family Business Began
Texas Crawfish Company's history goes back to 2019, when the business began operating under the name Big Cab's Crawfish. Colton and Marina Goff later rebranded the operation as Texas Crawfish Company in 2024, reflecting a business that had grown beyond its original identity.
The company has developed an operation that reaches well beyond the food trailer customers recognize from Spring.
According to reporting by Community Impact in March 2026, the Goffs also operate a wholesale seafood business in Louisiana and manage approximately 100 acres of crawfish farmland. Their operation includes a custom warehouse where crawfish are washed and purged before distribution.
Rather than relying on a single supplier, Texas Crawfish Company sources its seafood from multiple farms and docks, an approach that connects the business directly with Louisiana's commercial crawfish industry.
That connection to the source is an important part of the company's identity. Texas Crawfish Company emphasizes its process of cleaning and purging crawfish at its Louisiana facility before soaking them to develop the seasoning and flavor associated with Louisiana crawfish boils.
The company serves customers purchasing prepared seafood as well as those looking for live crawfish for backyard boils and larger gatherings.
For the Goffs, expanding the business has meant managing several parts of the seafood trade, from farming and sourcing to distribution, preparation and serving customers in Texas.
Those operations have also helped the business establish a presence in the greater Houston area, where crawfish season is as much a social tradition as it is a favorite time of year for seafood lovers.
Texas Crawfish Company's Conroe Restaurant Brings Another Dining Option to Montgomery County
While the food trailer prepares for its move to Tomball, Texas Crawfish Company already has another established location in Montgomery County.
In March 2026, the Goffs expanded into a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 17506 FM 1314 Road in Conroe, giving customers a permanent location to gather and enjoy the company's seafood.
The Conroe expansion marked an important step for a business previously known primarily for its food trailer and wholesale operations. It also created an opportunity to serve a broader menu throughout more of the year, rather than focusing exclusively on the traditional crawfish season.
The restaurant offers boiled seafood and traditional accompaniments, including shrimp, snow crab clusters, corn, potatoes, sausage and other Cajun-style favorites.
More recently, the Conroe location has served as the company's primary destination for seafood during the crawfish offseason.
In October 2026, Texas Crawfish Company promoted a menu featuring boiled blue crabs, Royal Red shrimp, snow crab clusters, boiled turkey necks and seafood combinations. Customers could dine in or place orders to go.
The business also brought larger No. 1 blue crabs back to the menu in response to customer interest.
In an October 30 update, Texas Crawfish Company explained that customers looking for blue crabs would need to visit the Conroe restaurant, as the food trailer would not operate a separate crab season that year.
For residents of Conroe, Porter, New Caney and surrounding Montgomery County communities, the FM 1314 restaurant provides another local option for Louisiana-style seafood.
The location has also played an important role behind the scenes as the business prepares for the upcoming season. Following the parking situation in Spring, the company moved its large crawfish cooler trailer and boiling trailer to the Conroe property, where equipment maintenance and preparations for crawfish season could continue.
With the Conroe restaurant operating and the Tomball food trailer preparing to reopen, the Goffs will have two locations serving different parts of the north Houston area.
Why Texas Crawfish Company Is Leaving Its Spring Location on Gosling Road
The decision to relocate the food trailer came after Texas Crawfish Company learned that an access arrangement involving a neighboring property would end.
On October 27, the business shared that the ground lease providing road access to the rear of its food truck park on Gosling Road was being terminated effective October 31. Although the company indicated it could remain at its existing location, losing the access road would significantly reduce available customer parking.
The situation created an immediate challenge for a food trailer that relies on having enough space to accommodate customers during busy crawfish weekends.
According to a subsequent company update, the affected side road had previously accommodated approximately 50 to 70 vehicles when business was especially busy. Texas Crawfish Company began asking its customers and social media followers for recommendations on alternative locations in the Spring area. Customers and community members responded with suggestions and offers to help, and the company continued sharing updates as it evaluated its options.
By November 3, the search had led to 403 Eats in Tomball.
403 Eats and Its Place in Old Town Tomball
Located at 403 East Main Street, 403 Eats is a popular Tomball food truck park and entertainment venue developed by longtime local business owners Gretchen and Michael Fagan. Gretchen, who served as Tomball's mayor for 15 years, and her husband created a casual gathering place where residents can enjoy food, drinks and live entertainment.
The property features multiple food trucks, two full-service bars, indoor air-conditioned seating, ample parking and an 8,500-square-foot turf area near the stage. In 2024, the venue expanded its entertainment offerings with Events Behind the Fence, an outdoor space for concerts and community gatherings.
For Texas Crawfish Company, the move means joining an established Old Town Tomball destination with the space and amenities to accommodate its customers while remaining convenient for many of its longtime Spring-area patrons.
What Customers Should Know About the 2027 Crawfish Season
Although Texas Crawfish Company has confirmed its move to 403 Eats, an exact opening date for the 2027 crawfish season has not been announced.
In an October 30 update, the business said it hoped to begin serving crawfish from its trailer around January, depending on preparations and availability. The company has also been monitoring crawfish conditions in Louisiana, where harvest timing and supply are influenced by weather and other seasonal factors.
Texas Crawfish Company indicated that it expects to maintain its usual operating-day schedule after relocating, although specific hours and opening details will be announced closer to the season.
In the meantime, the company's Conroe restaurant remains an option for customers interested in seafood during the offseason.

After unexpected parking challenges prompted the search for a new location, the move allows Texas Crawfish Company to remain close to its longtime Spring-area customers while offering more space and amenities.
For Tomball residents, it brings another local dining option to Old Town, while giving the Goffs an opportunity to continue growing the seafood business they have built over the past seven years.
