Tavola West HOA Board Election 2026: Two Homeowner Seats Open, Candidate Deadline October 16

Tavola West HOA Board Election 2026: Two Homeowner Seats Open, Candidate Deadline October 16

Tavola West  /
October 08 2026

Homeowners in Tavola West who have ever considered getting more involved in neighborhood decisions have an opportunity to do just that. The Tavola West Community Association, Inc. is seeking candidates for two positions on its Board of Directors ahead of the association's November 19, 2026, Annual Meeting of Members.

Both positions are reserved for homeowners, with each carrying a two-year term. Interested residents must submit their candidate information by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026, to be included on the ballot.

For Tavola West property owners, the upcoming election is an opportunity to participate in decisions that help shape the neighborhood's operations, policies and long-term direction.

Why Serving on the Tavola West HOA Board Matters

Homeowners associations play an important role in the management of residential communities. Their boards are responsible for making decisions about association business, including budgets, policies and the enforcement of community standards.

According to the Tavola West Community Association's candidate solicitation notice, the Board of Directors is responsible for association decisions, while the management company handles day-to-day community operations under the board's direction.

That distinction is important for homeowners considering a board position.

Serving as a director involves more than expressing opinions about neighborhood concerns. Board members must consider the interests of the broader community, evaluate association business and make decisions that affect fellow property owners.

For residents who care about the upkeep, management and future of Tavola West, serving on the board provides an opportunity to take a more active role in those responsibilities.

Who Can Run for the Tavola West HOA Board?

According to the association's official solicitation notice, candidates must be members of the association, meaning their names must appear on the deed to their property.

Any owner of record who meets that requirement is eligible to submit their name for consideration.

The association also outlines the time commitment and responsibilities involved in serving.

Board members should expect to dedicate approximately four to five hours per month to association business, participate in email discussions and attend occasional special meetings.

The board meets as needed, with meetings typically occurring no more than once per month.

The association emphasizes that directors must be willing to make decisions based on the needs of the entire community rather than focusing solely on their immediate neighbors or personal interests.

How to Submit a Candidate Application Before October 16

Tavola West homeowners interested in running for one of the two open board positions must submit the following information:

  • Full name
  • Property address
  • Short biography
  • List of qualifications

Candidate submissions should be emailed to Cinthia Sullivan at csullivan@azuria.com.

The deadline is Friday, October 16, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Submissions must be received by that time for the candidate to be placed on the ballot.

The association notes that candidate biographies may be reformatted to fit the annual meeting notice, but the wording itself will not be edited.

For that reason, homeowners should carefully review their biographies before submitting them, ensuring the information accurately reflects their background, experience and reasons for wanting to serve.

Tavola West Annual HOA Meeting Scheduled for November 19

The 2026 Annual Meeting of Members for Tavola West Community Association, Inc. is scheduled for Thursday, November 19, 2026.

The association has indicated that homeowners will receive a separate written notice with additional meeting information.

During this year's election, two homeowner board positions will be up for consideration, each with a two-year term.

Homeowners who are not interested in running for office can still take an active role by reviewing the forthcoming meeting notice, learning about the candidates and participating in the election process according to the association's instructions.

An Opportunity to Help Shape Tavola West's Future

As Tavola West residents continue to invest in their homes and community, homeowner participation remains an important part of neighborhood governance.

The people serving on an HOA board help make decisions that can influence community operations, maintenance priorities, association spending and neighborhood standards.

For homeowners considering a board position, the upcoming election provides a chance to contribute their time, experience and perspective to those discussions.

Those interested in serving should remember that candidate submissions are due by 4:00 p.m. on October 16, ahead of the November 19 Annual Meeting of Members.

For additional information about submitting a candidacy, homeowners can contact Cinthia Sullivan at csullivan@azuria.com.
