Fall is bringing a little extra fun to Tavola West this October, with an afternoon planned especially for neighborhood families. The Tavola West Fall Carnival will take place Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Community Pavilion, giving residents an opportunity to enjoy seasonal festivities and spend time with neighbors.

From colorful face painting and balloon creations to carnival snacks and activities for younger children, the event will offer a variety of ways for families to enjoy the afternoon together without leaving the neighborhood.

For parents looking for something fun to do with the kids, the carnival provides a convenient opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the fall season and connect with other Tavola West families. Please note that this event is open to Tavola West residents only.

What Families Can Expect at the Tavola West Fall Carnival

The event will feature several family-friendly attractions, with entertainment and refreshments planned throughout the two-hour celebration.

Carnival activities and entertainment include:

• Bounce house for little ones: An opportunity for younger children to jump, play and burn off some energy.
• Face painting: Colorful designs that add a little creativity to the afternoon.
• Balloon artist: Fun balloon creations for children to enjoy.
• Yard games: Casual outdoor activities that families and neighbors can enjoy together.
• Live DJ: Music to keep the carnival atmosphere going.
• Popcorn and cotton candy: Classic carnival treats that are always popular with kids.
• Kids' drinks and bottled water: Refreshments to help families stay hydrated during the festivities.

The event announcement notes that supplies will be available while they last, so families interested in specific treats or activities may want to arrive earlier in the afternoon.

A Chance for Tavola West Neighbors to Celebrate Fall Together

Neighborhood events like the Fall Carnival are about more than keeping children entertained. They also give families a chance to build friendships and spend time with neighbors outside their usual routines.

For newer Tavola West residents, the carnival can be an easy way to meet other families and become more familiar with the community. For longtime residents, it offers another opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces while the kids enjoy an afternoon of games and treats.

With the festivities taking place at the Community Pavilion, families can enjoy a neighborhood gathering close to home.

Parents are encouraged to supervise their children during activities, particularly around the bounce house, and plan for an outdoor afternoon.
