A sizzling new dining destination is headed to the Willowbrook Mall area this winter. Super Yummy Mongolian Stir Fry & Sushi will open its doors at 7615 FM 1960 Road, between In-N-Out Burger and Chili’s, offering an immersive “build-your-own bowl” stir-fry experience paired with an expansive sushi menu.
Renovation work is scheduled to begin in mid-July, 2025, with construction set to wrap up by the end of January 2026. The $700,000 project involves a full interior remodel of the former Kirin Japanese Seafood & Sushi Buffet, which previously operated in the same 5,600-square-foot space.

Super Yummy’s Mongolian stir-fry isn’t just about fresh ingredients—it’s a nod to the fiery cooking style of 12th-century Mongol warriors. According to the restaurant’s concept, ancient soldiers would sear their daily bounty over battle-heated shields, preparing a feast fit for the Great Khan himself. Today, Super Yummy revives this dramatic flair with a circular flat-top grill heated to a blazing 600 degrees, creating a culinary performance at the heart of each visit.
