Sprouts Farmers Market Set to Open First Comal County Store at Creekside Town Center in New Braunfels

December 05 2025

A new chapter in healthy living is taking root in New Braunfels. Sprouts Farmers Market will officially open its highly anticipated store on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 275 Creekside Crossing in Creekside Town Center. The new location marks the first Sprouts in Comal County and will introduce the area to its well-known mix of farm-fresh produce, organic groceries, and health-focused products.

The 23,395-square-foot store was constructed at a cost of $2.3 million and is part of the ongoing expansion of Creekside Town Center—a 400-acre master-planned development that serves as a shopping, dining, and entertainment anchor in the Austin-San Antonio corridor.

Founded in 2002 in Arizona, Sprouts now operates over 400 stores across the U.S. The brand is celebrated for making healthy eating accessible, with a focus on fresh fruits and vegetables, bulk items, vitamins, supplements, and natural body care products. Shoppers can expect to find everything from grass-fed beef to plant-based snacks and gluten-free baking essentials.

Popular natural and organic brands such as Annie’s, Bob’s Red Mill, Vital Farms, Califia Farms, and Simple Truth Organic fill the shelves alongside Sprouts' own private-label goods. The store's bulk foods section offers everything from grains and granola to nuts, dried fruit, and candy—allowing customers to buy exactly what they need while reducing packaging waste. With an emphasis on affordability, transparency, and wellness, Sprouts aims to create a grocery shopping experience tailored to health-conscious individuals and families who value quality and ingredient integrity.

Sprouts’ arrival complements the growing number of wellness and lifestyle-focused businesses at Creekside, including PetSmart, EoS Fitness (coming soon), and Massage Heights. Its presence is expected to be a major draw for health-conscious shoppers in New Braunfels and neighboring communities.

Creekside Town Center has rapidly evolved into a top-tier retail destination, attracting more than 8.8 million visits annually. Its proximity to major roadways and dense residential neighborhoods—plus its adjacency to Buc-ee’s—makes it an ideal spot for Sprouts’ expansion into the Central Texas market.

With this new location, Sprouts is poised to become a go-to grocery store for families, foodies, and wellness enthusiasts alike. The opening not only brings more options to the table—it also strengthens New Braunfels’ place on the map as a thriving, health-minded community.
