
Soccer Playoffs Kick Off for 12 Cy-Fair ISD Teams as UIL Postseason Begins
The excitement of Texas high school soccer playoffs is set to unfold as 12 teams from Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) prepare to compete in the UIL postseason. With the conclusion of the District 16-6A and District 17-6A regular seasons on March 7, the top four boys’ and girls’ teams from each district have secured their spots in the bi-district round, set to commence on March 20.
District 16-6A Girls’ Soccer Standouts Enter Playoffs
Bridgeland High School and Cypress Woods High School share the district championship title, both finishing with a 12-1-1 record. Cypress Ranch High School follows closely behind, securing third place with an 11-3 finish. Making history, Cypress Lakes High School earned its first-ever playoff berth by clinching the fourth seed with a 6-6-2 record.
