Richmond and Rosenberg Restaurants Join Eat Drink HTX 2026 to Support the Houston Food Bank
A pair of popular Richmond restaurants are joining a growing list of Greater Houston eateries participating in the 2026 Eat Drink HTX campaign—a two-week food event with a powerful mission. Running from February 15 through February 28, the event gives locals the chance to enjoy affordable, curated meals while supporting the efforts of the Houston Food Bank, the largest in the nation.
Organized by The Cleverley Stone Foundation, Eat Drink HTX was created to shine a spotlight on casual and fast-casual restaurants, especially during slower months like February. It’s the sister event to the more upscale Houston Restaurant Weeks, and allows diners to support local restaurants while helping to feed families across Southeast Texas.
“Eat Drink HTX was created to boost the restaurant industry, which is typically not as profitable at this time of year,” said Katie Stone, daughter of the late Cleverley Stone and president of the foundation that now produces the event. “The additional benefit is that the Houston Food Bank receives funds that will allow them to serve the many in need here in our community."
Delicious Food with a Purpose
Participating restaurants offer $15 brunch and lunch and $25 dinner menus, each including two delicious courses. In turn, restaurants donate $0.50 for every brunch/lunch and $1 for every dinner sold directly to the Houston Food Bank, which distributes over 140 million meals annually through a network of 1,600 community partners.

Houston Food Bank President and CEO Brian Greene emphasized the value of this partnership: “Eat Drink HTX is a great way for Houstonians to have a great meal while supporting the Houston Food Bank. Funds raised through this event will enable us to source more nutritious food for area families facing food insecurity."
