REMINDER: Hearthstone Garden Club Fall Plant Sale Brings Cool-Season Color to Bob Allen Park
For Hearthstone residents, fall planting season comes with a convenient neighborhood tradition this October. The Hearthstone Garden Club Fall Plant Sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2026, beginning at 10 a.m. at Bob Allen Park, giving local gardeners a chance to shop for seasonal plants without leaving the community.
The sale will take place in the east parking lot at Bob Allen Park and will continue until the plants are sold out. The Garden Club is encouraging shoppers to come early for the best selection.
Fall Flowers and Cool-Season Favorites
The Hearthstone Garden Club plans to offer a variety of plants suited for fall color and seasonal landscaping, including pansies, snapdragons, alyssum, kale, mums and other fall varieties.
For homeowners, those plants can offer an easy way to add fresh color around entryways, flower beds, patios and other outdoor spaces as summer gives way to cooler weather. The neighborhood setting also makes the sale an opportunity for residents to connect with fellow gardeners and support a local club that is helping keep gardening visible within Hearthstone.
The Fall Plant Sale is also being held alongside a separate Hearthstone Garden Club youth activity later that morning, giving families another reason to make a stop at Bob Allen Park.
Residents interested in shopping the sale should plan for 10 a.m. on October 17 at Bob Allen Park’s east parking lotand keep in mind that availability will depend on how quickly individual plant varieties sell.
