Preslee’s Southern Good Eatery Announces New Katy Location with Sister Spot Greenlee’s Mexican Kitchen
Preslee’s Southern Good Eatery, a Houston favorite known for its down-home Southern cuisine and laid-back family vibes, is officially expanding west. The Piper brothers, Brandon and Justin—who launched the original Preslee’s in Shady Acres in 2019—have announced that their second location is headed to Katy, Texas.
Set to open at 6001 Highway Blvd, Katy, TX 77494, the new Preslee’s will sit beside the team’s newest concept, Greenlee’s Mexican Kitchen. While few details have been released about Greenlee’s, a newly created Facebook page hints at more to come for fans of family-run dining with bold flavor and Texas spirit.
Southern Food, Southern Soul
Preslee’s, named after Justin Piper’s daughter, has become a go-to gathering spot in the Heights, where it has thrived on West 19th Street since opening in 2019. With its rustic decor, expansive patio, full bar, and kid- and pet-friendly atmosphere, it has carved out a unique identity—Southern comfort meets the modern family.
The upcoming Katy location promises more of what locals love: hearty brunches, handcrafted cocktails, Southern classics with a twist, and an inviting space for the whole crew, including your four-legged friends.
