Potranco Corridor Booms with 211 Crossing and Steven’s Point Developments

January 14 2026

The Far Westside of Bexar County is in the midst of a transformation. Two major developments—211 Crossing, a professional and medical office park, and Steven’s Point, a retail center featuring Dunkin’ and Einstein Bros. Bagels—are slated for completion in mid-2026, bringing essential services to an underserved but rapidly growing area.

Situated along State Highway 211 near Potranco Road, these projects aim to better serve residents in neighborhoods like Potranco Ranch West and Luckey Ranch, who have long dealt with limited access to medical care and casual dining close to home.

211 Crossing is expected to offer a range of services including urgent care, general practice, dental offices, and physical therapy—all within a short drive for thousands of area residents. This aligns with ongoing calls from local leaders to expand healthcare access as the area's population swells.

Meanwhile, Steven’s Point will provide retail and dining options that fill a noticeable gap in daily convenience. Popular chains like Dunkin’ and Einstein Bros. Bagels mark the beginning of what developers hope will be a growing retail hub, with room for additional tenants over time.

These developments signal a larger shift in how growth is unfolding on the western edge of San Antonio. Rather than just residential sprawl, planners are now focused on integrated communities that include infrastructure, amenities, and services that support quality of life.

As more families choose the Far Westside for affordability and space, local economic development groups say projects like these are critical in sustaining livable, connected communities.
