New H-E-B Opening in Jordan Ranch on October 29 Brings Full-Service Grocery Store to West Katy
Katy-area shoppers are gearing up for the grand opening of a brand-new H-E-B location in Jordan Ranch, set to open its doors Wednesday, October 29. Located at 29711 Jordan Crossing Blvd., the expansive 116,000-square-foot store is poised to serve one of Fort Bend County’s fastest-growing master-planned communities, blending convenience, innovation, and Texas hospitality under one roof.
The Jordan Ranch H-E-B will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., offering customers an elevated shopping experience that includes a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy, a car wash and fuel station nearby on Texas Heritage Parkway, and a wide range of specialty departments and amenities.
A Welcome Addition to a Growing Area
Juan Siso, a 17-year H-E-B veteran and the Top Store Leader for the new location, shared the team’s excitement about welcoming Jordan Ranch and neighboring communities to the store. “Your new Jordan Ranch H-E-B is committed to providing outstanding customer service while showcasing our expansive product assortment and standards of freshness and quality that will exceed your expectations,” Siso said.
In a nod to H-E-B’s reputation for combining quality with convenience, this store includes on-site features such as the Meal Simple® line of pre-prepared meals, a Sushiya Hot Asian Grill with made-to-order options, and a dedicated Outdoor Seafood Boil station. Certified meat cutters, artisan bakery selections, and a wide-ranging wine and local craft beer department round out the unique in-store experience.

H-E-B’s Continued Expansion in Katy
This opening marks the latest in H-E-B’s ongoing expansion across the Katy area. In February 2024, the company unveiled a new location at The Market at Katy Park on Morton Ranch Road, offering everything from a scratch bakery and full-service butcher to a pharmacy and curbside pickup. Another H-E-B is currently planned for the Elyson community, further north along FM 529, continuing the brand’s investment in serving Katy’s fast-growing neighborhoods.
Founded in 1905 in Kerrville, Texas, H-E-B has grown into one of the largest independently owned food retailers in the country, known for its community engagement, customer-first philosophy, and strong local partnerships. The brand’s tagline, “By Texans, For Texans,” rings especially true in this latest project — an $18 million privately funded build on private land that adds value not just in retail, but in regional job creation and economic development.

A Store for the Community
The addition of the H-E-B Jordan Ranch store brings more than fresh groceries—it brings a sense of community to the heart of Fort Bend County. The new store and fuel station promise to provide long-term support for local residents by making everyday essentials more accessible and keeping dollars local.
Whether it’s steak night with Prime 1 beef, a custom birthday cake, or a quick weeknight dinner from Meal Simple®, the new H-E-B aims to be a one-stop destination for Jordan Ranch and beyond.
For families in Katy, Fulshear, Brookshire, and nearby neighborhoods, the new Jordan Ranch H-E-B is a welcome addition—bringing everyday essentials closer to home as the area continues to grow.
