New CommuniCare Clinic Coming to San Antonio’s Kallison Ranch Neighborhood, Bringing Pediatric and Primary Care Services
San Antonio families in the far west side’s Kallison Ranch neighborhood will soon have another trusted option for affordable, compassionate healthcare. CommuniCare Health Centers will construct a brand-new clinic at 14811 Culebra Road San Antonio, TX 78254 with a focus on pediatric and primary care.
The $9.2 million healthcare project is scheduled to begin construction on June 1, 2026, and wrap up by June 4, 2027, according to official permit filings. Once complete, the modern, two-story, 10,800-square-foot medical office building will join more than 20 existing CommuniCare clinics already serving the greater San Antonio area. This newest location will bring vital medical services closer to home for families in fast-growing neighborhoods like Kallison Ranch, Alamo Ranch, and other areas along the Culebra corridor.
CommuniCare’s commitment to accessible, family-centered healthcare began more than five decades ago. It was founded in 1972 by Sister Dolores Girault, D.C., who opened a small pediatric clinic to serve children in need on San Antonio’s West Side. What started as a two-exam room operation has since evolved into a robust, full-service network of clinics that care for tens of thousands of patients annually across Bexar, Kendall, and Hays counties.
True to its roots, CommuniCare’s newest facility will focus on high-quality, technology-driven care designed with families in mind. The Kallison Bend location will offer pediatric checkups, well visits, and general primary care services.
