New Caney ISD Star Card Gives Tavola West Seniors Free Access to School Events
New Caney ISD’s Star Card provides eligible residents with a simple way to enjoy local sports and student performances without purchasing individual admission.
The free pass is available to New Caney ISD residents age 65 and older. It is also offered to active-duty military members and veterans.
According to the district’s ticket information page, the Star Card provides free general-admission access to New Caney ISD athletic and fine arts events. That gives eligible residents of Tavola West opportunities to attend games, concerts, performances and other district activities throughout the school year.
Where to Get a New Caney ISD Star Card
Cards are available from the New Caney ISD Athletics Department or the district Administration Building.
The Athletics Office is located at 21360 Valley Ranch Parkway in New Caney. Additional information is available by calling 281-577-8630.
Residents should bring identification and any documentation needed to verify their eligibility. Because admission procedures may vary for postseason competitions, reserved seating, fundraisers or events hosted by outside organizations, cardholders should confirm the policy for individual events in advance.
A Community Benefit With a Wider Purpose
The Star Card can help seniors remain active and engaged by providing recurring opportunities to leave the house, meet others and enjoy live events near home. Because school calendars include different sports and artistic disciplines, cardholders can explore activities that suit a wide range of interests.
Their attendance benefits students, too. When senior residents, veterans and military members from Tavola West attend, they bring visible community support to young athletes and performers. Their presence can make an ordinary school event feel more like a community occasion.
These gatherings also create informal opportunities for generations to connect. Students see the residents who support their schools, while older adults gain a closer view of the young people shaping the area’s future.
For qualifying residents in Tavola West, the New Caney ISD Star Card offers more than free admission—it provides a standing invitation to participate. Learn more at newcaneyisd.org.
