New Board Member Elected to CRPA

CRPA is excited to announce that David Champlin was elected to join our Cinco Ranch Board of Directors on October 23, filling an important open board position. 

David has lived in Cinco Ranch since 2000. He was elected twice as Neighborhood Representative for Town Center. He is currently serving as Chair of the Modifications Committee and Vice Chair of the Finance Committee (and several months as interim chair). David also formerly chaired the Strategic Planning Workgroup. Currently, he serves on the NRC documents workgroup.

He holds an educational background in Environmental Design and Building Design, and for 40 years, he advanced to the position of Senior Vice President in the field of Mechanical Engineering. David has a varied career in engineering and project management (held PMP certification). He was the Chief Mechanical Engineer for the FMTV truck program (part of the small team that beat competitors like General Motors for $1Billion contact), a Project Manager for the Emergency Diesel Generators for CVN 77 – (USS George HW Bush), and co-wrote and edited ISO Procedures manual for 2 divisions. He is an architect of engineering data repository, holding responsibilities in upstream oil and gas both onshore and offshore. His professional activities took him to Kuwait, Russia (Siberia in winter twice) , Britain, China, India, Germany and Austria both in partnerships and engineering support.

David is known as problem solver.
