Monster Truck Wars Returns to Conroe November 21 With Two Shows, Monster Truck Rides and Family Entertainment
Families looking for something different to do in Conroe this November will have a chance to experience monster trucks racing, jumping and competing just minutes from home. Monster Truck Wars is returning to Conroe on Saturday, November 21, 2026, bringing two live performances to the Lone Star Expo Center Arena, along with monster truck rides, professional quad racing and opportunities for children to join the action.
The touring motorsports event will offer a noon matinee and a 6 p.m. evening show, giving families throughout Conroe, Willis, Montgomery, The Woodlands and surrounding Montgomery County communities two opportunities to attend.
For parents searching for family-friendly events in Conroe, things to do with kids in Montgomery County or weekend activities near The Woodlands, the event offers more than watching oversized trucks compete. Attendees can also meet drivers, see the vehicles up close and participate in activities designed specifically for younger fans.
Monster Truck Wars Brings National Tour to Conroe, Texas
The Conroe appearance is part of the newly announced Monster Truck Wars 2026 National Tour, which includes stops across Maryland, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Florida through December.
The touring production features professional drivers operating specially built monster trucks in competitions involving speed, jumps and other driving challenges. The event is designed to bring the spectacle of large-scale monster truck racing to communities across the country, with an emphasis on live entertainment that families can enjoy together.
According to the October 14 national tour announcement, the fall schedule includes Maryland appearances October 17 and 18, followed by Cincinnati, Ohio, and Chatsworth, Georgia, on October 24. The tour then heads to Texas for performances in San Antonio on November 7, Amarillo on November 14 and Conroe on November 21, before continuing to Florida for its remaining announced dates.
The Conroe stop gives Montgomery County residents an opportunity to attend the national touring show locally without traveling to another major Texas city.
Meet the Monster Trucks Coming to Conroe
Four featured monster trucks are advertised for the November 21 Conroe performances, each with its own distinctive design and racing identity.
Locomotive, promoted for its steam-powered attitude and locomotive-inspired personality, is among the trucks scheduled to compete. The lineup also includes Shark Attack, a 2023 points champion featuring a whale shark design. The truck is listed at 1,750 horsepower and weighs approximately 10,200 pounds.
T-Rex, promoted by Monster Truck Wars as the world's first and only of its kind, will bring a dinosaur-themed presence to the competition.
Rounding out the featured lineup is Outlaw, a seven-time champion built on a custom 2021 Ford F-250 platform. The truck is listed at 1,750 horsepower and approximately 9,500 pounds.
Throughout the performances, spectators can watch the trucks compete on a dirt track designed for jumps, racing and other high-powered maneuvers.
The organizer notes that participating talent and the show format are subject to change.
Monster Truck Rides, Pit Parties and Driver Meet-and-Greets
One of the event's attractions is the opportunity to experience a monster truck from a passenger's perspective.
Sergeant Smash will offer monster truck rides throughout the event, allowing attendees to climb aboard a specially designated ride truck.
Ride tickets must be purchased separately at the venue on the day of the show and are available for cash only. They are not included with general admission, VIP admission or Pit Party tickets. The organizer advises that the ride experience is not recommended for small infants.
Families who would rather stay on the ground can purchase access to the pre-show Pit Party, where attendees can get a closer look at the trucks, meet drivers and see the competition track before the main event.
Pit Party admission is $5 per person in addition to a required show admission ticket, while VIP tickets already include Pit Party access.
The pre-show experience also includes a Kids Zone. Following each performance, drivers are scheduled to sign autographs near the merchandise stand, providing another opportunity for young fans to meet the people behind the wheel.
Quad Wars and Kids Powerwheel Races Add to the Entertainment
Monster trucks are the main attraction, but the Conroe event will also feature additional competitions.
Quad Wars brings professional ATV riders to the track for wheel-to-wheel racing, with competitors pursuing prize money and bragging rights.
Younger attendees can participate in Kids Powerwheel Races, an activity open to children ages 3 through 9. Families interested in participating must bring their own Powerwheel vehicle and reserve a spot in advance through the event organizer.
Participating children will also have a chance to win a free souvenir.
For families with children who enjoy cars, trucks and motorsports, the Powerwheel competition offers a way to participate in the event rather than simply watch from the stands.

Because monster truck competitions involve extremely loud engines, hearing protection is recommended, particularly for children and anyone sensitive to loud noises.
A November Weekend Activity for Conroe and Montgomery County Families
With two performances scheduled on the same Saturday, Monster Truck Wars gives families some flexibility in planning their November 21 weekend.
The midday performance may appeal to households with younger children who prefer an afternoon outing, while the evening show provides an alternative for families with Saturday morning sports, school activities or other commitments.
The indoor setting is another consideration for parents planning around unpredictable November weather in Southeast Texas, although attendees should still check the organizer's event information for any updates before leaving home.
For Conroe residents, the event also adds another family entertainment option to the community's fall calendar. Rather than traveling into Houston for a motorsports show, families in northern Montgomery County can experience the competition at a local venue.
Additional event information, ticket availability and any schedule changes can be found through the official Conroe Monster Truck Wars ticket page or the Monster Truck Wars website.
