Magnolia Rotary Club Charity Car Show Returns June 13 to Support Neighbors in Need in Magnolia

June 12 2026

Residents of Magnolia Springs looking for a family-friendly way to spend a Saturday while supporting a meaningful local cause may want to mark their calendars for the Magnolia Rotary Club's 1st Annual Charity Car Show, taking place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Unity Park Pavilion in Magnolia.

More than just a showcase of classic vehicles, the event is designed to bring the community together while raising funds to help Magnolia-area neighbors facing food insecurity. Organizers say 100% of proceeds from the event will go toward supporting local residents in need, turning a day of automotive appreciation into an opportunity to make a direct impact close to home.

A Day of Cars, Community and Family Fun

Admission for the general public is free, making the event accessible for families throughout Magnolia, Magnolia Springs and surrounding communities.

Attendees can expect a wide variety of vehicles on display, including original, traditional and modified cars from all eras. Whether you're a lifelong car enthusiast or simply enjoy seeing beautifully restored classics, the show promises something for everyone. Vehicle owners can enter their cars for a $35 registration fee and compete for first-, second- and third-place trophies across four categories.

Beyond the cars, the event will feature food, drinks, vendors, raffles, prize drawings, a silent auction and a bounce house for children. Organizers also anticipate a few furry guests, giving animal lovers a chance to stop and cuddle some four-legged friends while enjoying the festivities.

Rotary's Mission Extends Beyond the Car Show

The event is being organized by the Magnolia Rotary Club, a local chapter of Rotary International, one of the world's largest service organizations. Rotary clubs are known for bringing together business leaders, professionals and volunteers to address community needs through service projects, charitable initiatives and fundraising efforts.

Locally, the Magnolia Rotary Club works to strengthen the community through programs that support families, students and residents facing challenges. The Charity Car Show reflects Rotary's longstanding commitment to the principle of "Service Above Self," transforming a community gathering into an effort that helps local families put food on the table.

For Magnolia residents, the event offers a reminder of how local organizations continue working behind the scenes to support neighbors during difficult times.

Champions Hot Rod Car Club Helping Drive the Event

Supporting the event is the Champions Hot Rod Car Club, a Spring-based organization founded five years ago to serve automotive enthusiasts throughout Spring, Magnolia and the greater Houston area.

The club was created in response to a growing interest in a community-focused car club where owners could share their passion for classic and custom vehicles while giving back locally. Over the years, members from across the Houston region have participated in shows and charitable events, showcasing everything from meticulously restored classics to eye-catching custom builds.

In addition to celebrating automotive history and craftsmanship, the club emphasizes community involvement and works to serve as a resource for local residents through its events and outreach efforts.

Why This Event Matters to Magnolia

Community events often provide more than entertainment—they create opportunities for neighbors to connect while supporting causes that make a tangible difference. As Magnolia continues to grow, gatherings like the Charity Car Show help maintain the sense of community that many residents value.

For families, it offers an affordable day out. For car enthusiasts, it's an opportunity to admire vehicles from different eras. And for those facing hardship, the proceeds generated from the event could provide meaningful assistance through local hunger-relief efforts.
