Locally Owned Texan Mattress to Open New Caney Showroom Oct. 1 on FM 1485
New Caney residents will have a new place to shop for mattresses beginning Oct. 1, when locally owned Texan Mattress opens its doors at19261 FM 1485 Unit E, New Caney, TX 77357.
The new showroom will be operated by Derrick and Dionne Jones and will feature 15 mattresses from five brands, giving shoppers a chance to compare several options in one stop.
For a community that continues to add new homes, businesses and services, the opening is another small but noticeable sign of growth along the FM 1485 corridor.
A Local Business Behind the New Showroom
Texan Mattress announced the New Caney opening on Sept. 8.
According to the company, the store will carry Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, Helix and WinkBed mattresses. Derrick Jones has also completed mattress-fitting training and certification for the brands offered at the location.
The idea is to give customers a more personal shopping experience, with help comparing mattress types, comfort levels and support rather than simply choosing from a row of beds on their own.
That local ownership may also matter to shoppers who prefer doing business with someone who lives and works in the same general community.
Another Addition Along FM 1485
FM 1485 has become an increasingly active commercial stretch in New Caney, with restaurants, services and retailers serving a growing population in East Montgomery County.
The arrival of Texan Mattress will not reshape the corridor on its own, but it adds another everyday shopping option for residents who might otherwise drive farther for a larger selection.
