Have you ever taken your furry companions to Millie Bush Dog Park in George Bush Park? This nationally acclaimed dog park is a true local gem that's beckoning you and your fur baby for an enjoyable afternoon of fun, play and sunshine!

Millie Bush Dog Park, situated in West Houston on the eastern edge of Katy, is a highly frequented public dog park renowned for its expansive size and top-notch amenities. Spanning 8.68 acres, the park is divided into two securely fenced, off-leash areas with a double-gated entry system to ensure dogs' safety.

The larger section features granite trails, two man-made ponds for swimming, and ample space for off-leash activities, catering primarily to larger dog breeds but welcoming smaller dogs. A smaller dog area mirrors the layout of the larger section, providing a designated space for smaller canines to play and splash in a pond.

The park offers numerous amenities, including benches, covered seating areas for shade, four water fountains, trees, fire hydrants, and strategically placed dog waste bag dispensers and trash cans. Despite its popularity, the park rarely feels crowded, offering ample room for dogs to explore and play off-leash.

Conveniently located outside the park, three washing stations facilitate cleaning muddy paws and fur. While there is no restroom within the park, a public restroom is available across the street. The parking lot has plenty of space for vehicles with over 100 parking spots. The park address is 16101 Westheimer Pkwy, Houston, TX 77082

While we have this gorgeous weather, make plans to visit Millie Bush Dog Park soon. Your furry companions will love you all the more for the trip!
