Little Caesars Opens October 24 in Champions Area on FM 1960, Bringing Hot-N-Ready Pizza and More to Northwest Houston

Northwest Houston
October 23 2026

Champions-area residents looking forward to the new Little Caesars on FM 1960 won't have to wait much longer.

Little Caesars will officially open its newest Northwest Houston location on Saturday, October 24, 2026, bringing its well-known Hot-N-Ready pizzas, Crazy Bread and other menu favorites to one of the area's busiest commercial corridors.

Located at 5720 FM 1960 Road West, Houston, TX 77069, across from Domino's Pizza, the new restaurant gives families in Champions, Champion Forest and surrounding Northwest Houston neighborhoods another convenient option for lunch, dinner or a quick bite after an evening of activities.

The opening follows an earlier announcement reported by My Neighborhood News in April 2026, when plans for the restaurant first surfaced. At the time, construction documents outlined a 2,082-square-foot renovation of an existing vacant commercial space, with an estimated investment of $150,000. Construction was initially expected to wrap up in August, but the company has now confirmed the restaurant's October 24 opening date.

For residents who regularly travel FM 1960 between school drop-offs, work, shopping and extracurricular activities, the addition brings another familiar name to a stretch of roadway already lined with restaurants and neighborhood businesses.

What's on the Menu at the New Little Caesars on FM 1960?

Little Caesars has built much of its following around a simple idea: making pizza affordable, convenient and easy to pick up without a lengthy wait.

Its signature Hot-N-Ready pizza remains one of the chain's biggest draws, offering customers the convenience of walking in and purchasing select pizzas without ordering ahead.

The new Champions-area restaurant will offer many of the items that have made the brand recognizable to pizza lovers across the country, including classic pepperoni and cheese pizzas, Crazy Bread, Caesar Wings and Crazy Puffs.

Crazy Puffs, one of the chain's newer fan favorites, offer a different take on traditional pizza. The bite-sized, muffin-shaped creations feature pizza ingredients baked into individual portions, making them an option for customers looking for something smaller than a full pizza.

Other familiar Little Caesars offerings across the chain include Detroit-style deep dish pizza and specialty pizzas, although availability can vary by location.

The company also places considerable emphasis on how its pizzas are prepared. According to Little Caesars, its dough is made fresh in-house daily, rather than arriving frozen. Pizzas are prepared with a blend of real mozzarella and Muenster cheeses, while the company's sauce is made using fresh-packed, vine-ripened California tomatoes.

For families feeding several people on a busy weeknight, the combination of familiar menu choices, quick pickup and value-focused pricing has long been part of the chain's appeal.

New Little Caesars Champions Location, Address and Hours

The new Little Caesars will be open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Whether it's picking up dinner on the way home or grabbing a pizza after a Friday night football game, residents will have another option along FM 1960, including during the later evening hours.

Little Caesars also offers its Pizza Portal pickup system at participating restaurants, allowing customers to place an order through the company's app and retrieve their food from a heated, self-service pickup station.

From a Family-Owned Pizza Shop to Thousands of Restaurants Worldwide

Although Little Caesars is now one of the world's largest pizza chains, its beginnings were considerably smaller.

The company was founded in 1959 by husband-and-wife team Mike and Marian Ilitch, who opened their first restaurant in Garden City, Michigan. What began as a single family-owned pizza shop eventually grew into an international business headquartered in downtown Detroit.

Today, Little Caesars is the third-largest pizza chain in the world, with thousands of restaurants spanning all 50 U.S. states and 30 countries and territories.

Its growth has been closely tied to the company's focus on value and convenience, particularly its Hot-N-Ready concept, which helped establish a recognizable alternative to traditional made-to-order pizza service.

Over the years, the chain has expanded beyond its original pizza offerings with products such as Crazy Bread, wings, Crazy Puffs and other specialty items. Its introduction of the Pizza Portal also brought a technology-driven approach to pickup orders, allowing customers to retrieve food without waiting at the counter.

Little Caesars has also developed a national presence through sports partnerships, including its role as the Official Pizza Sponsor of the NFL.

Across Greater Houston, the brand already has an established presence, with restaurants serving communities throughout Houston and its suburbs, including Katy, Cypress, Spring and other surrounding areas. The new Champions restaurant adds another location to that regional network.

For Northwest Houston residents, however, the more immediate benefit is having another familiar dining option close to home.

Grand Opening Celebration Planned for Champions-Area Families

While the restaurant will begin welcoming customers on October 24, Little Caesars has confirmed that a separate grand opening celebration is planned for the coming weeks.

According to the company, the celebration will be free and open to the public, with giveaways, entertainment and activities for guests of all ages.

The celebration will give local families another opportunity to visit the new restaurant and take part in the opening festivities, particularly those who have followed the location's progress since plans were first announced earlier this year.
