Legends Ranch Halloween House Competition Invites Neighbors to Get Spooky, Silly and Creative

Legends Ranch Halloween House Competition Invites Neighbors to Get Spooky, Silly and Creative

Legends Ranch  /
October 07 2026

Halloween decorating season is here in Legends Ranch, and residents who enjoy turning their front yards into haunted hideaways or family-friendly fall scenes have a chance to put their creativity in the spotlight.

The Legends Ranch Halloween House Competition is inviting neighbors to decorate their homes and compete in two categories: Spooktacular, recognizing the scariest setup, and Too Cute To Spook, celebrating the best kid-friendly display.

Whether a household prefers ghosts and graveyards or pumpkins and playful decorations, the competition offers neighbors a fun reason to add a little extra Halloween spirit to the community this October.

Two Ways to Win the Legends Ranch Halloween House Competition

Organizers are looking for displays that fit one of two very different Halloween styles.

Spooktacular is for residents ready to embrace the creepier side of the season with their scariest outdoor decorations. Too Cute To Spook is designed for kid-friendly displays that bring Halloween fun without all the fright.

Judging will take place Friday, Oct. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Residents should keep visibility in mind while planning their displays. Only the portion of the yard and house that can be seen from the street will be considered during judging. That means decorations tucked away in backyards or areas not visible from the roadway will not count toward the competition.

Legends Ranch Residents Must Register by Oct. 25

Anyone hoping to enter the Legends Ranch Halloween decorating contest will need to register by Sunday, Oct. 25.

Registration is available at tinyurl.com/LRHalloween26.

With judging taking place the evening before Halloween, the competition also gives neighbors another reason to enjoy a drive or walk through Legends Ranch and see the creativity appearing from house to house.

For participating residents, there is still time to bring out the cobwebs, pumpkins, skeletons, friendly ghosts and whatever else might turn a front yard into one of the neighborhood’s memorable Halloween displays.
