The Langham Creek High School softball team has advanced to the UIL Class 6A regional semifinals after a hard-fought area round victory over New Caney. The Lobos clinched the best-of-three series with wins of 6-0 and 5-3, overcoming a 0-2 setback in the second game. This triumph propels Langham Creek into a regional semifinal matchup against Forney High School, scheduled as follows at West High School, located at 1008 Jerry Mashek Drive:
- Game 1: Thursday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m.
- Game 2: Friday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m.
- Game 3 (if necessary): Saturday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m.
