Lakes on Eldridge homeowners interested in taking a more active role in neighborhood decisions will soon be able to submit their names for the community’s 2026 Board of Directors election.

The Lakes on Eldridge Community Association, Inc. has announced that three board positions will be filled during the upcoming Annual Meeting of the Members. The election gives residents an opportunity to help guide long-term community priorities, oversee association operations, protect property values and represent fellow homeowners.

Candidate Filing Opens August 10

The candidate filing period will open Monday, August 10, 2026, and close Monday, August 31, 2026.

Homeowners who are interested in serving on the Lakes on Eldridge Board of Directors are encouraged to submit their names and candidate information before the deadline. The association is expected to provide additional details about eligibility requirements and the submission process through the official candidate application.

Serving on an HOA board can involve decisions related to community maintenance, budgeting, neighborhood policies, amenities and future improvement projects. For Lakes on Eldridge residents, the election provides a direct way to participate in those conversations and help influence the direction of the neighborhood.

Meet the Candidates Forum Planned for September

After candidate filing closes, the association plans to host a Meet the Candidates Forum during September 2026.

The forum is expected to give homeowners an opportunity to learn more about each candidate’s background, priorities and goals for Lakes on Eldridge. Residents will also be able to ask questions before voting in the board election.

The exact date and additional forum details will be announced separately.

Annual Meeting Details Still Pending

The 2026 Annual Meeting of the Members will begin at 7 p.m. at the Lakes on Eldridge Clubhouse. The meeting date had not yet been finalized when the information was submitted.

Election materials and voting instructions will be distributed to eligible association members before the Annual Meeting in accordance with the community’s governing documents and applicable law.

Residents should watch for future notices containing the confirmed Annual Meeting date, candidate application instructions, voting information and Meet the Candidates Forum details.

November and December Board Meetings Scheduled

The association has also scheduled its later-year board meetings for Tuesday, November 17, and Tuesday, December 15.

Regular HOA board meetings provide residents with an opportunity to stay informed about community operations, projects, financial decisions and other matters that may affect the neighborhood. Meeting times, agendas and attendance information should be confirmed through official Lakes on Eldridge communications as each date approaches.

With candidate filing beginning in August and the election process continuing into the fall, the coming months will give Lakes on Eldridge homeowners several opportunities to learn more, ask questions and become involved in the community’s future.
