This fall, beauty lovers in Katy will have a new reason to treat themselves. According to an official permit filing, construction on the 1,276-square-foot space is set to begin in late August 2025, with a targeted completion date of mid-November 2025. The $200,000 interior build-out will transform the site into a stylish, service-focused salon designed to make every guest feel like a star.
Founded in 2007, Blo Blow Dry Bar was born from a simple but game-changing idea—offering clients a place to get their hair perfectly styled without committing to a cut or color. Since then, the brand has grown to more than 140 locations across the U.S. and Canada, rolling out its signature “pink carpet treatment” worldwide.

The Katy location will offer the full menu of Blo services, from classic blow outs and custom up-dos to specialty treatments like deep conditioning, scalp therapy, and Color Wow Dream Coat applications. The bar will also provide makeup artistry, mobile “Blo On The Go” services, and dedicated bridal and party packages for weddings, showers, birthdays, and community events.
