Join in LSC-CyFair's Summer Reading Fun - Book Clubs, Magic, Crafts, Games and More
Participate in the 2023 Summer Reading Program with family fun programs and cool prizes for everyone.
With a theme of “All Together Now”, Lone Star College-CyFair’s talented and creative librarians and staff members have planned a summer of exciting events and programs for all ages through Aug. 5.
Don’t miss the library’s free Wednesday family programs including July 5 “Bugs on Wheels!” presented by Houston Museum of Natural Science; July 12 “Crocodile Encounter”; July 19 “Sing! Move! Play!” Presented by Houston Grand Opera, July 26 “Zumba” with Stephanie Krueger and Aug. 2 “Ballet Performance” by Houston Repertoire Ballet and Ballet Center Houston. These programs are held at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. with free tickets available in the library an hour prior to each program.

In addition, there will be children story times, sensory programs, family jammie time, game nights, Tween book clubs, yoga and crafts for younger library patrons. Teenagers have their own book club, movies, puzzle tournaments, escape room and more. Adults can choose from several book clubs, L.I.F.E. programs, computer workshops and movement Mondays featuring different workout styles as well.
