Jalen Hemphill Named as New Principal of Spring High School
Spring ISD is pleased to announce the selection of Jalen Hemphill as the new principal of Spring High School. Hemphill, who was chosen through a rigorous selection process, brings middle and high school experience and has a proven track record of success as a transformational leader in education.
Hemphill has a passion for innovation and has been a leader in implementing new programs and initiatives to improve student learning and engagement. He is committed to creating a positive and inclusive school culture and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Hemphill earned a Bachelor of International Relations and a Bachelor in Modern Languages with a focus on Spanish in Business Administration as well as a Masters in Education Administration from Southern Methodist University. He is also working on his Doctor of Education as a program candidate in Educational Leadership from Southern Methodist University.
He is excited to join Spring High School and is looking forward to working with the students, faculty, and the community to continue the school's tradition of excellence.
