IKEA Katy in LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch Announces Grand Opening Date
Global Swedish retail giant IKEA is set to launch its second Houston-area store in Katy. The new 'Plan and Order Point with Pick-Up' store is opening its doors for the public on February 28. IKEA U.S. aims to serve today’s consumers better, becoming more accessible and convenient for the Houston market.
Javier Quiñones, CEO & Chief Sustainability Officer, IKEA U.S., said, "As we hit the ground running in 2024, we are excited to continue expanding the IKEA footprint in Houston, TX. IKEA Katy is the first of many Plan and Order Point with Pick-Up stores to open this year, and we are thrilled to be expanding this concept to reach consumers across the state of Texas.”

(Source: APCO)At this new location, customers can leverage expert advice from IKEA professionals to plan and order home furnishings for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms, and also, conveniently pick up online purchases. IKEA U.S. has also made significant investments to enhance its e-commerce experience and service offerings, including new IKEA Family benefits, lower priced shipping and delivery, 'Click & Collect', and TaskRabbit assembly services.

The grand opening on February 28 will kick off with a celebration starting at 10:00 am, which includes exclusive tours, giveaways, food sampling, and more. The store will be located at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch shopping center at 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd, Suite G130, Katy, TX, 77494.
