HOW TO BEAT THE HEAT AND KEEP ELECTRICITY USE DOWN
- Have a technician check you’re a/c. It needs to be operating efficiently to keep electricity use down. And try to lower your thermostats setting by one degree. You shouldn’t notice that much of a difference but the grid will
- Avoid using appliances that generate heat during the day. Wait until after 7:00 pm to run your dishwasher, dryer and your oven. Even burners can raise the temperature in your kitchen. Get out that air fryer!
- Put in energy efficient lighting. It runs much cooler than traditional lighting.
- If we all work together on this we might be able to avoid those “brown outs”.
