These Hearthstone residents were all smiles for their first day back to school!

| Meet Chelsea! She is 7 years old and just started second grade at Aristoi Classical Academy in Cypress. Chelsea loves to compose songs, dance, learn jiujitsu at our local dojo, play with friends and love on her cat, Jacques. She is a loving, caring big sister, always looking out for "her" baby. Chelsea has a big heart for her family. She goes back and forth between wanting to be a police officer, a nurse or a pediatrician. Whatever path she takes, her family knows she will do great things in service of others. | Here's Zoë, a spunky two-year-old who just started another exciting year in preschool at St. Cuthbert School! She adores all things Clifford and Gabby's Dollhouse, and she loves to build with anything she can get her hands on. Zoë loves books about science and enjoys playing chef. For her age, she has a delightfully unusual appreciation and respect for beauty found in nature. Although she claims that she wants to be an M&M when she grows up, her parents wouldn't be surprised if she works for DARPA. |
During the month of August, My Neighborhood News held a photo contest for back-to-school photo submittals, asking respondents to share a little about themselves.
