Hashtag India Brings Traditional Indian Cuisine to Cypress
Hashtag India, an Indian restaurant with locations in Irving, Leander, Aubrey, and McKinney, is set to expand its footprint to Cypress. The new location at 7626 Fry Road, Suite 300, was formerly the site of Prestige Events, an event venue that hosted weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events and parties until it recently closed its doors permanently.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), interior renovation of the space for the new restaurant is scheduled to begin this August. Construction is slated to be complete by the end of November this year.
The restaurant’s menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Indian dishes including favorites like Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka, and Vegetable Biryani. In addition to these, the restaurant offers a selection of freshly baked bread like Naan and Roti to complete the meal.

To start off the dining experience, Hashtag India offers Chaat, a renowned Indian appetizer. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun, a classic sweet Indian delicacy, is a must-try. With Hashtag India's expansion to Cypress, locals and visitors alike will have a chance to explore Indian culture through a wide range of hearty Indian dishes without traveling far.
