Harlem Road Park Pickleball Courts Now Open
On September 5, officials and community members celebrated the opening of the much-anticipated Harlem Road Park Pickleball Courts located at 701 Harlem Rd., Richmond, TX 77406. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held that morning, followed by two Grand Opening organized social play sessions sponsored by Indigo, a new community in Richmond.
The Fort Bend County Parks and Fairground division kicked off the project in April, making steady process throughout the summer. Composed of six lighted pickleball courts, the project was made possible through the 2020 Parks Bond with a projected cost of $500,00.
Courts are first come, first served unless a reservation is made. Reservations must be made in-person at Four Corners Community Center until online reservation capabilities have been established.
