Your local libraries have lots of fun, engaging activities coming up this week for all ages. Check out the lineup of free programming and get plugged in!
The Cinco Ranch Branch Library is open on Monday from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday closed. Conveniently located at 2620 Commercial Center Boulevard in Katy, your Cinco Ranch Branch Library is the perfect place to spend a few hours learning and exploring.
The newest addition to the Fort Bend County Libraries family, Fulshear Branch Library, is open on Monday from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Thursday from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM, Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday closed. Monday, March 4
AARP Tax Assistance @ 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Representatives from AARP will assist in the preparation of income tax returns.
- Bring the following items to your appointment: photo ID; Social Security card(s) for self, spouse, and all dependents; last year's tax return; W-2, 1099s, and any other compensation received in 2023; unemployment compensation statements; and any other documents necessary to complete your return.
- Income tax forms are no longer available at the libraries, but you may use the libraries' computers and printers to download and print the forms from the IRS website, www.irs.gov, during regular library hours. A library card is needed to use the printers, and the cost to print is 10¢ per black-and-white page.

Are you writing a book or manuscript? Join us for the Prose Pros Writing Group at Cinco Ranch Branch Library. This month's topic will be how to plot a novel. In the second half of this workshop, those interested will have the opportunity to read aloud their manuscripts and get constructive feedback. No registration is required.

This monthly class is perfect for beginners, or those who have some experience in watercolors, and are eager to learn more. Mother Goose Time is a 30-minute multi-sensory activity time designed for pre-walkers from 0-12 months of age. Mother Goose Time includes rhymes, finger plays, and lullabies designed for early educational development. This program has limited attendance and can only accommodate 15 infants.
