Fort Bend County Libraries Host Free Summer Writing Workshops for All Ages
This July, Fort Bend County Libraries are inviting writers of all ages and experience levels to beat the heat and tap into their creative energy with a series of free monthly writing workshops across the region. Designed to nurture talent and foster community among aspiring authors, the events offer practical tools, inspiration, and a welcoming space to finally start—or finish—that novel.
Whether you’re a teen daydreaming of your first fantasy saga, a retiree revisiting a long-lost manuscript, or a blogger looking to level up, these workshops are tailored for summertime schedules and creative pursuits. Held at library branches in Katy, Mission Bend, and Richmond, each session features a unique format to suit different writing needs, making them ideal for both solo writers and those seeking peer feedback.
