Spanning across 45 acres, Dennis Johnston Park is located at 709 Riley Fuzzel Road in Spring. The park features a pavilion, picnic tables, a small pond, pergola, walking trails, a butterfly and hummingbird garden, and access to Spring Creek.
The park provides access to the Spring Creek Greenway, a paved hike and bike trail connecting Dennis Johnston Park to Pundt Park, Stahl Preserve, Carter Park, Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, and Highway 59 in Humble.
Additionally, the park is home to Big Stone Lodge, a shared use facility serving as the administrative headquarters for the Harris County Precinct 3 Parks Department and this Precinct 3 community center. Big Stone Lodge offers private reservations for Friday and Saturday evening events on a limited basis. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the small pond and banks of Spring Creek within Dennis Johnston Park, with late winter and early spring being prime times for catching white bass and crappie, while catfish can be caught year-round.
