Expose Excellence Youth Program Now Accepting Entries for Youth Art Month

March 03 2024

The Expose Excellence Youth Program (EEYP) is calling all budding artists aged 10-17 in Fort Bend County to join the celebration of Youth Art Month 2024. This initiative is more than just an opportunity to have your artwork seen; it's a stage for young talents to express themselves, develop their skills, and foster their artistic interests.

Dedicated to promoting the importance of education and fostering a positive outlook, the EEYP is deeply rooted in the local community. Working closely with school administrations, churches, and community leaders, EEYP aims to support students' growth, allowing each one to tap into their potentials and address any challenges they may encounter in their educational journey.

Students are encouraged to submit their artwork to be featured by the EEYP and the opportunity to exhibit at Art In The Bend! This opportunity is open to all students within Fort Bend County throughout the month of March.

Students interested in participating in Youth Art Month must reside in Fort Bend County or be homeschooled, and be enrolled in any school within Fort Bend County. Even if you've never picked up a paintbrush, if you identify with our program and its goals, you're more than welcome to participate.

EEYP's Youth Art Month program will culminate with a showcase at Art In The Bend. Interested students will receive more information by March 28th and will need to drop off their artwork at the EEYP office located in the Fort Bend County Justice Center. By submitting their artwork, students permit EEYP to feature it on all EEYP platforms along with their first name and school.

For more information, contact the EEYP coordinators at raven.forrester@fortbendcountytx.gov or wendi.palomera@fortbendcountytx.gov
