Entergy & United Way Donate $25,000 in School Supplies to Conroe ISD
Entergy and United Way secured a $25,000 grant to donate nearly three tons of school supplies to Conroe ISD.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Curtis Null, the Student Support Services and Guidance and Counseling staffs, and several school counselors from around the District gathered with representatives from Entergy and United Way as the school supplies were delivered to the District’s South Warehouse.
“We are so thankful for our great community partners at Entergy and United Way who are committed to making a difference in the lives of our students,” Null said. “Our counselors will see first-hand the impact these items will have, so it’s wonderful to see them here to show their appreciation for this generous donation.”
The 5,700 pounds of school supplies, including backpacks, headphones, pencils, facial tissue, glue sticks, and more will be divided and distributed to the schools in the coming weeks.
