The holiday season is bringing a little extra sweetness to Conroe this year as the City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department prepares to welcome families back for its popular Donuts with Santa event on Saturday, December 12, 2026. With photos with Santa, holiday treats, children's activities and a new Christmas market, the annual celebration offers local families a chance to make special memories without traveling far from home.

This year's event will take place at the new Oscar Johnson Jr. Enrichment & Recreation Center, located at 710 Foster Drive in Conroe, giving residents an opportunity to experience one of the city's newest recreational facilities while enjoying a morning of Christmas festivities.

And for parents hoping to spend a little more time enjoying the experience with their children, there's a welcome change this year. Organizers have expanded the event's time slots to 45 minutes, allowing families additional time to visit Santa, participate in activities and enjoy the holiday atmosphere.

What to Expect at Conroe's Donuts with Santa 2026

For many young children, meeting Santa Claus is one of the most anticipated moments of the Christmas season. Donuts with Santa brings that experience together with familiar holiday favorites in a setting designed for families.

Hosted by the City of Conroe Parks and Recreation Department, the event will feature a variety of activities for children and parents to enjoy together, including:

• Donuts and Christmas treats

• Photos with Santa Claus

• Holiday arts and crafts

• Face painting

• Moonwalk activities

• A mini-Christmas market featuring local vendors

The addition of a mini-Christmas market gives this year's celebration something new. While children enjoy the activities, parents can browse merchandise from local vendors and perhaps check a few gifts off their holiday shopping lists.

The expanded 45-minute sessions are another thoughtful addition, particularly for families with younger children who may need a little extra time to settle in, visit with Santa or participate in their favorite activities.

Rather than rushing through the experience, families will have more time to enjoy the celebration together.
