Cypress Springs High School Celebrates 20 College-Bound Athletes on 2025 Late Spring Signing Day

April 16, 2025, was a landmark day for Cypress Springs High School as 20 senior athletes signed national letters of intent during Cypress-Fairbanks ISD’s Late Spring National Signing Day. The event spotlighted a diverse class of Wildcats set to continue their athletic and academic careers at colleges and universities across the country.

From football and basketball to swimming, cross country, and wrestling, the range of sports represented speaks to the depth of the Cypress Springs athletic program. Among the standout signings, Christopher Cruz and Greg Morales both committed to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, highlighting the school’s growing soccer talent.

The ceremony was filled with emotion, pride, and excitement as students signed with programs from across the country, including both private and public institutions. Coaches expressed pride in their athletes not only for their athleticism but also for their leadership and academic accomplishments.
