Cy-Fair Helping Hands’ Festival of Trees 2025 Promises a Night of Holiday Magic, Giving, and Community Spirit
The holiday season is kicking off early in Cy-Fair with one of the area’s most heartwarming traditions: the Festival of Trees, hosted by Cy-Fair Helping Hands (CFHH). Set for Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Enchanted Cypress Ballroom, this year’s event promises to be bigger, brighter, and more impactful than ever before.
With the theme “Stroll Through the Wonderland of Trees,” guests are invited to slip into their favorite holiday attire and enjoy an elegant evening featuring dinner and dessert, live music, dancing, a silent auction, cocktails and mocktails, plus crowd-favorite activities like the wine and whiskey pulls and a 360° photo and video booth. A special VIP hour will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. for sponsors.
Tickets are $125 each, and sponsorship opportunities range from $1,500 to $20,000. All proceeds support the mission of Cy-Fair Helping Hands, a nonprofit dedicated to serving the homeless and hungry in the northwest Houston community.
Supporting the Mission, One Tree at a Time
Festival of Trees is more than just a dazzling event—it’s a cornerstone fundraiser that helps sustain CFHH’s life-changing services throughout the year. Attendees can support the event in several ways: by purchasing tickets, sponsoring tables or the event itself, or donating a decorated tree or wreath for the auction centerpiece of the event’s "wonderland of trees."

Businesses, churches, organizations, or even groups of friends are encouraged to get involved by sponsoring or creating an auction item. For sponsorship details, donations, and ticket purchases, visit cyfairhelpinghands.org/FOT2025.
A Legacy of Compassion
Founded in 2010, Cy-Fair Helping Hands began as a grassroots effort by Cy-Fair residents Jean and John Dreyer, who served soup from the back of a pickup truck to individuals experiencing homelessness. What started as a small act of kindness has since evolved into a robust 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a wide range of programs to support the area’s most vulnerable populations.
Now operating out of its facility on Emmott Road near US 290 and Beltway 8, CFHH provides services such as a Community Food Pantry, a Day Center for the homeless, emergency shelter for families, mental health counseling, case management, homeless street outreach, back-to-school and holiday programs for CFISD students, and scholarships for low-income Lone Star College students.
CFHH operates entirely on the generosity of local individuals, churches, and businesses—making events like the Festival of Trees vital to sustaining its mission.

A Year of Impact: CFHH by the Numbers
The community’s support of CFHH is already yielding powerful results. In 2024 alone:
- The organization provided 243,584 meals to struggling families, despite a temporary pause in pantry operations due to relocation.
- Volunteers gave 23,856 hours of service, and 2,223 backpacks were distributed to local students.
- 1,219 visits were made to the Day Center for showers, laundry, meals, and fellowship.
- CFHH funded 4,028 nights of shelter for homeless families with children.
- Santa visited 1,211 children at the Client Christmas Party, distributing toys and gift cards that brought holiday joy.
- 17,100 pounds of food were delivered to homebound clients with mobility issues.
- The “Come As You Are” worship service launched in 2024, creating a faith-based space of community and acceptance.
With these achievements as a backdrop, the 2025 Festival of Trees is a celebration not only of the holidays, but of the hope and help that CFHH delivers all year long.
