Crossroads Coffee Plans New Gathering Space in Montgomery With Shop at Montgomery Summit Business Park

May 13 2026

As Montgomery County continues to grow, a new locally focused coffee shop is preparing to create a different kind of gathering place in the heart of Montgomery. Crossroads Coffee, a faith-based craft coffee concept centered on community connection and hospitality, is planning a renovation project inside Montgomery Summit Business Park at 15325 Summit Park Drive, Suite 109, Montgomery, TX 77356.

According to project filings, the 1,200-square-foot renovation is scheduled to begin June 15, 2026, with completion anticipated by Aug. 20, 2026. The estimated construction cost is listed at $300,000.

While new coffee shops continue to emerge across Montgomery County, Crossroads Coffee is positioning itself as more than a place to grab a morning drink. The business says its mission is rooted in creating meaningful connections and providing a welcoming environment where residents can gather, work, meet, and build relationships outside of home and work life.

For many Montgomery-area residents, especially as rapid residential and commercial growth reshapes the region, community gathering spaces have become increasingly important. Crossroads Coffee aims to fill that role by offering a locally driven atmosphere focused on fellowship, conversation, and community engagement.

A Community-Centered Coffee Shop Coming to Montgomery

Located within Montgomery Summit Bus Park, the new Crossroads Coffee space is being designed to support a variety of uses, from casual meetings and remote work sessions to small group gatherings and community events.

The shop describes its approach as “Creating Connections Around Quality Craft Coffee,” with a business model built on hospitality, integrity, and service. In addition to serving ethically sourced coffee and handcrafted beverages, the business plans to offer fresh pastries, seasonal desserts, and light snacks prepared daily.

Its menu is expected to include artisan coffee blends brewed using specialty methods alongside freshly baked pastries and rotating seasonal dessert offerings.

Crossroads Coffee says it wants the environment itself to feel welcoming and approachable — a space where customers can relax, collaborate, or spend time with family and friends in what the business describes as a “second home” atmosphere.

Faith-Based Mission Focused on Hospitality and Service

The Montgomery coffee shop also plans to incorporate its faith-based values into daily operations and community outreach efforts.

According to the business, operating hours will intentionally exclude Sundays in observance of rest and reflection. Beyond coffee service, Crossroads Coffee says it hopes to partner with nonprofits, host local groups, and provide special programming designed to strengthen community relationships throughout Montgomery.

That emphasis on connection reflects a broader trend emerging across fast-growing suburban communities in Texas, where locally owned gathering spaces increasingly serve as informal hubs for neighborhood interaction, business networking, and civic engagement.

As Montgomery continues to see new residential development and population growth, businesses that prioritize local identity and community involvement are becoming an important part of the area’s evolving character.

What the Renovation Project Includes

Project records list the work as a renovation and alteration of an existing suite within Montgomery Summit Bus Park. The buildout will transform approximately 1,200 square feet into the future Crossroads Coffee café.

Construction is expected to begin in mid-June 2026 and conclude before the end of summer if timelines remain on schedule.

The addition of another independent coffee destination also reflects continued commercial activity along the Montgomery corridor, where new businesses are increasingly serving both longtime residents and newcomers relocating to the Lake Conroe and Montgomery area.

For local residents, the project represents another example of Montgomery’s small business landscape continuing to evolve with spaces designed around community experience rather than simply retail transactions.

What Happens Next

If construction progresses as planned, Crossroads Coffee could welcome its first customers later this summer following completion of renovations in August 2026.

The business says its long-term vision extends beyond serving coffee, with plans to foster ongoing community engagement through gatherings, partnerships, and relationship-building opportunities in Montgomery.

As the project moves forward, residents can expect additional updates regarding opening timelines, operating hours, and future programming announcements.
