It's time to turn your unused items into cash!
On Saturday, October 7, Copper Village will hold its fall community garage sale. The sale will begin at 7:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 PM.
Make your garage sale a success with these tips:

Place high-value items in a visible area for safekeeping and to attract potential customers to your sale.
- Organize clothing by size and gender.
- Collaborate with your children to select items they would like to sell such as toys they haven't played with in a while, outgrown clothes or bicycles that are now too small.
- When putting out your items, consider placement so that items are easily visible and appealing for customers. Clean items that are particularly dirty for higher appeal and presentation.
- Label items with prices prior to the sale by designating item types or groups of items with a specific price and/or individually pricing items.
- Have cash on hand in a lock box to make change for your customers. Be sure to keep your sale cash on hand at all times!
- Place a sign in your yard with a brief description of featured items in your sale like bicycles, grills or large workout equipment to attract customers.
- Have an idea of the lowest price you will accept for groups of items prior to the sale so you are prepared to bargain with hagglers.
