Landscape committee update May 12, 2022
- Kiddie Mulch is being installed in playgrounds over the next 2 weeks, taking recourses from
- freeze cleanup along West Rd and Wheat Cross. We have been assured the clean-up will continue until completed.
- Trees along walk trails south side of the Glade will be trimmed in order to give clear passage for pedestrians and bicyclists. Any trees encroaching on property lines in this area will also be addressed. Further scope of work includes removing deadwood in trees by the Clubhouse recreational area. Along brick fence on Barker Cypress, trees will be trimmed to clear for mowing. Trees along Wheat Cross Dr East and West and West Rd will be trimmed according to schedule. We had to remove one tree on West Rd because the roots caused damage to the brick fence.
- All blooming trees in the subdivision have been deep root fertilized.
- Seasonal flowers have been planted by most monuments. We’re missing the gated section due to damaged irrigation system caused by AT&T fiberoptic installation. Installer left behind pipes sticking out of the ground, and Ansco Associates sent out a crew to clean this up. We’re waiting on them to do the repairs on the irrigation.
- HOA received landscape redesigns and quotes for all the monuments/entrance signs in the subdivision. Including all rest areas in The Waterford and the Glade. HOA approved and awarded the job to ALPC. They are in the process of collecting plant material and will transplant some of existing plants where we can.
- Precinct 3 repaired several sidewalks in The Reserve NE and NW.
