Join us at The Ardest Gallery for World Cyanotype Day!
What is a cyanotype?!?! This type of photography is a camera-less technique where objects are layered on paper coated with a solution of iron salts that is then exposed to UV light and washed. The result....stunning Prussian blue & white images.
Throughout the day, we will be highlighting local artists and their cyanotype works of varying sizes and styles. Gallery artist Shauna Marie Martin will be hosting a cyanotype workshop at 10:00AM for pre-registered guests.
We will have some samples to showcase the steps involved in the process on display for Q&A.
