Katy residents will have a renewed opportunity to reduce waste and protect the environment at the rescheduled Trash-Off: Community Recycling Event, taking place on May 3, from 9 a.m. to noon at Katy's First Baptist Church.
Hosted by Keep Katy Beautiful, a local initiative dedicated to community beautification and sustainability, this free recycling event encourages responsible disposal and eco-friendly habits. Originally postponed due to weather, the event is back by popular demand.

Textile recycling: clothing, linens, shoes, belts, purses, hats, and stuffed toys

Keep Katy Beautiful has been a longtime advocate for clean, green public spaces and sustainable living in the Katy community. Events like Trash-Off offer residents a hands-on way to contribute to a cleaner environment.
