Texas Free Fishing Day

Catch the excitement on June 7th from 9 AM to 12 PM at Deputy Darren Goforth Park for Texas Free Fishing Day! This fun-filled, family-friendly event provides an incredible opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and reel in some fish – no fishing license required!

Hosted by Tom S. Ramsey, PE, Harris County Precinct 3 Commissioner, this event encourages locals to experience the joy of fishing without the need for a permit. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or a first-time fisher, this event has something for everyone.

• Free fishing for all participants (no license required!*)
• Fishing poles available for loan (limited supply, so be sure to arrive early!)
• Expert tips and tricks to help you reel in your catch
• Fun for all ages – perfect for families and beginners
