Teen Financial-Literacy Series: Budgeting 101

Join us at Mission Bend Branch Library for the Teen Financial-Literacy Series: Budgeting 101!

In this class, teens will learn how to create and stick to a budget by tracking income and expenses, prioritizing needs over wants, and saving for future goals.

Over the next several months, Janelle Johnson -- from the Fort Bend County Extension Office -- will cover: maintaining a budget, credit management, credit cards, and types of insurance. 

• January 13 at 5 pm: Budgeting 101;
• February 3 at 5 pm: Credit Management;
• March 3 at 5 pm: Introduction to Credit Cards;
• April 7 at 5 pm: Insurance Basics;

Registration required; register online, in person, or by calling 832-471-5908. This program is for students in grades 9 through 12.
