Summer Kickoff in The Colonies

Residents of The Colonies are invited to celebrate the start of summer at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Summer Kickoff on Friday, June 26. Hosted by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with HCMUD 102 and HCMUD 257, this free community event offers an afternoon packed with family-friendly activities, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and public safety personnel.
Families can enjoy free snow cones, paletas, train rides, inflatable games, a petting zoo, kids' haircuts, and meet-and-greet opportunities with farm animals. Special appearances by Andy Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse and the Chick-fil-A "Eat Mor Chikin" Cow will add even more fun for children.
In addition to entertainment, attendees can visit community resource booths, meet local deputies, learn about neighborhood services, and connect with fellow residents in a welcoming atmosphere designed to strengthen community relationships.
