Safe Sitter Class at HCESD 48

Harris County Emergency Services District 48 is offering a free Safe Sitter class for teens on Saturday, April 12, The class, designed for young teens interested in babysitting or earning a Girl/Boy Scout Babysitting and First Aid Badge, provides essential training on child care, safety, and emergency response.

• How to handle emergencies
• CPR and first aid techniques
• Basic child care and safety skills
• Fun, hands-on learning with CPR manikins and games

At the end of the class, students will demonstrate their new skills, proving they’re ready to handle any situation when caring for younger siblings or other children.

To sign up, parents must complete the Student Registration Form and email it to babysitting@hcesd48.org with their preferred class date. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
