Young animal lovers looking to turn their passion into practical skills can sign up for the Pet Sitting 101 Summer Camp, hosted by Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP). Held June 9–13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., this engaging, educational camp is designed for kids ages 13–16 and costs $350 per week.
Founded in 1972, Citizens for Animal Protection is a respected nonprofit dedicated to sheltering, rescuing, and advocating for homeless and neglected animals across Greater Houston. Their mission to educate and inspire the next generation of pet owners and animal advocates shines through in this hands-on summer program.
